As a nurse, I try my best to educate and spread awareness about common pregnancy conditions, but when former patients become proactive in their communities and share their personal experiences with a terrifying medical diagnosis, they not only educate, but they spread hope in their neighborhoods as well. This month, the Donley Family of Dallas, TX and the McCown family of Chandler, AZ, both who were diagnosed with twin to twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS), shared their success stories with their local news stations. They both have beautiful families and I’m so happy to now share their miracle stories with you!
